How much does UltraScript cost?

UltraScript is totally free. Not "freemium" or free for a certain time period. It's totally free. No ads. No hidden upgrade costs.

If it's really free, then how do you keep the lights on?

UltraScript is donationware. If you have a few bucks to spare and enjoy using the app, please help out. Other than that, UltraScript was initially created as an internal tool that I decided to share with everyone.

How often will updates come out?

Because UltraScript is my own internal tool that I plan on using for all my screenwriting needs, I will constantly be updating it and adding features. One of the reasons I am putting this out to the world is so I can get feedback and ideas on how to create the best screenwriting software ever.

Hey, wasn't UltraScript itself created using AI coding tools? Isn't that hypocritical?

UltraScript was created using AI coding tools. That's true. I am not against AI or any other tool that lets someone be more creative and efficient. The key is using tools that allow you to be creative yourself, not to do the creating for you. I could not have produced UltraScript with my time constraints if I wrote it manually, but the design and layout of the program is my own creation.

Everyone's doing AI. How does UltraScript use AI?

I believe the screenplay is the foundation of any movie, so it is the one place the human touch is 100% required. You are free to use any AI tools you want to help you write but the purpose of UltraScript is to enable the human writer the tools to write as efficiently and creatively as possible.
